Join us on Friday morning, October 20, at the Charles B. Wang Center at Stony Brook University, for our annual Meeting of the Minds symposium. This year's topic is "Stroke." Our keynote speaker is Michael Tymianski, CM, MD, PhD, FRCSC, FAHA, of University Health Network, University of Toronto, Krembil Research Institute, Toronto Western Hospital, and NoNO, Inc. A renowned cerebrovascular neurosurgeon-scientist, Dr. Tymianski will be speaking about the development of PSD95 inhibitors for the treatment of ischemic stroke. There will also be five speakers from Stony Brook presenting their research on the basic biology and translational potential of their research that can ultimately benefit stroke patients. "Meeting of the Minds: Stroke" is free and open to physicians and other healthcare professionals, students and anyone with an interest in stroke. Breakfast is provided. And there will be a Q&A after the presentations. The event is FREE. No registration is required. We hope to see you there!
