Why these Long Island doctors are giving their patients ketamine

In 2019 the Food and Drug Administration approved the use of ketamine in nasal spray form (esketamine), for people suffering from treatment resistant depression. Among those interviewed for this piece was Stony Brook Medicine's Lucian Manu, MD, who was the principal investigator of Janssen's trial of esketamine at Stony Brook University Hospital from 2017 to 2019.
