Navigation Stroke Center
Patient Resources
Navigating life after a stroke or dealing with cerebrovascular health issues can be challenging, but you don't have to do it alone. Our list of resources connects you with essential services, from disability benefits and medical insurance assistance to specialized driving schools and nutrition programs. We're here to help you and your loved ones find the support needed to enhance recovery.
We offer connections to employment and training assistance to help you reenter the workforce, as well as family caregiver supportive services to provide relief for those who are helping you through this journey. Additionally, you'll find details on transportation services and support groups, creating a network of care and community to bolster your path to recovery.
You must receive clearance by your physician to return to driving after you're discharged from the Stroke Specialty Program. There are resources to help assess your readiness to return to driving and regain the skills needed for driving following a Stroke.
