  • First Joint Commission (TJC)-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in Suffolk County (2018, and continuous recertified (2020 - present) — offering end-vascular treatment for stroke, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

Stony Brook is one of only five NCCUs in New York State to receive this award.
